HOW DO I CHARGE MY 4SCORE® DEVICE?

  • Day Pen: Your Day pen comes with a USB charger. To charge, connect your charger to your pen as it was when you received it. Remember not to overtighten but to make sure it is snug. Plug your charger into a USB compatible charging block such as a computer, phone charger, or other device. When your pen is completely charged, the light on the charger will turn green, and the light on your pen will turn off.
  • Dual Charge: The Dual Charging Port battery is compatible with both Type-C and iPhone chargers, use whichever charger type you have on hand. Ensure that you plug the charger in to the correct charging port. When it is charging, a small light on the bottom (alongside the charging ports) will light up red. When it is completely charged, the light will turn green.
  • Curve: Your CURVE comes with a USB charger. To charge, connect your charger to the CURVE by plugging it into the bottom (only one end will properly fit) of the CURVE. Plug your charger into a USB compatible charging block such as a computer, phone charger, or other device. When the CURVE is charging, the button will light up blue, and the level of charge will be indicated by the 4 blue lights on the top. The level at which it is currently charging will blink until all 4 lights are steadily lit up, and the button light will turn off to indicate a full charge.

 

I LOST MY 4SCORE® SMART CHARGER. WHAT CAN I DO?

CAN I USE ANY OTHER USB CHARGER WITH MY DAY PEN?

4SCORE® takes customer safety seriously, which is why our Day Pen devices use smart chip enabled chargers. Our cutting-edge technology ensures protection against overheating and overcharging. For this reason, we do not recommend using any other USB chargers with your Day Pen.

 

WHAT TYPE OF CARTRIDGES ARE 4SCORE® DEVICES COMPATIBLE WITH?

4SCORE® devices are designed to be compatible with most standard 510 thread cartridges.

 

IS MY 4SCORE® DEVICE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?

DO I NEED TO CHARGE THE DEVICE WHEN I FIRST RECEIVE IT?

Your 4SCORE® device should already be fully charged.

 

HOW LONG SHOULD A FULL CHARGE ON MY DEVICE LAST?

It completely depends on how frequently you use the device. However, at minimum, the Day Pen charge should last through the majority of a full day, while the Dual Charging Port Battery can last at least 2 days, and the Curve should last up to 3 full days.

 

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHARGE MY BATTERY?

It depends on how often you use your device. When the power button starts blinking, instead of functioning, it’s time to charge it. It should take around one hour for the battery to fully charge.

 

MY DEVICE ISN’T WORKING. HELP!?

First, ensure that the battery is charged and that you are following the operation instructions properly. To confirm that it is the battery that is not working, rather than the cartridge, test the cartridge by inhaling through the mouthpiece to check for airflow. If there’s no airflow, you likely have a clogged cartridge or connection point. Follow these troubleshooting steps:

CLOGGED CONNECTION POINT:

  1. Unscrew the cartridge from the device and check if the product has leaked from the cartridge. (If it has, you’ll notice the bottom of the cartridge is sticky.)
  2. For the CURVE, unscrew the magnetic connector from the cartridge as well.
  3. Clean the connection point where the cartridge meets the device with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol. (Dry it off before trying to use it again.)
  4. For the CURVE, clean the magnetic connector as well.
  5. Ensure that the cartridge is not screwed on too tight. It should be snug, but not tight.

CLOGGED CARTRIDGE:

  1. If you have already determined that the connection point is clean and clear of clogs, then it is likely an internal clog of the cartridge.
  2. Heat the oil in the cartridge with the preheat function. (Click the power button twice.)
  3. Inhale deeply through the mouthpiece to clear any internal clogs and regain airflow.

 

THERE IS A BAD FLAVOR WHEN I TRY TO USE MY DEVICE?

If there is a bad flavor when inhaling, the cartridge coil is likely burnt out. This is usually caused by using too high of a voltage. Unfortunately, you cannot repair a burnt-out coil. Replace the cartridge with a new one and lower your voltage setting. (We recommend 3.4v or below.)

 

WHAT VOLTAGE SETTING SHOULD I USE?

Every cart, battery, and vaper is unique, making a universal voltage impossible. Consider variables like the oil thickness and your personal preference.

OPTIMAL VOLTAGE RANGE:

  • Typically, vape THC oil between 2.5 and 3.3 volts.
  • Denser oils perform best under 4.0 volts.

START LOW, ADJUST AS NEEDED:

  • Begin with the lower end of the voltage range.
  • Gradually increase to find the right balance.

AVOID DAMAGE AND DISCOMFORT:

  • High voltage can harm the cart or cause coughing fits.
  • Stay within the recommended voltage range.

 

MY DAY PEN JUST BLINKS RED BUT IT IS CHARGED?

If your battery is blinking red that indicates that it is not charged. It is possible that your charger is no longer functioning properly. To tell if your charger is no longer operating, plug in your device and charger – if your charger light turns green and no light turns on the pen then your charger is no longer working. Try using another charger to be sure this is the issue.

If these troubleshooting tips don’t work and the device still isn’t working, then you should be covered under our warranty.
